Thanks,Ozbloke. I think the oil flow is o.k. since there is a leak in the rocker inspection caps ( both intake) that I need to fix. There is no excessive heat from the engine except at idling for a longer period.
I was a little concerned whether I got the push rod tubes back on right.I know they did not go back to their previous locations (need to label them next time ). I'm going to adjust the valve settings again. Rode 100 miles yesterday and the bike did great except for being a little noisy.
I listened to some of the other bikes on you tube and other videos I have and the noise level seems to vary greatly. I'm o.k.with it as long as nothing is getting damaged. I'll check into the oil flow though to be sure.
Any suggestions on checking oil flow to the tappets?
