Not to get nit picky but it's a 'Tombstone' tail light.. and yes, ugly as hell.
White wall tires have been overdone to the point of being passe.
How will you do an open primary? Belt drive or "O" ring chain? Are you putting the ugly 6v alternator over the engine sprocket?
Usually this bunch recoils in horror when they see a non-restoration going on, but since that one is beyond restoration with some kind of weld on hardtail, maybe they are chilling out
