You'll have to remove the lamp assembly (bulb, reflector, trim ring adjuster) from the shell, but that's only a couple of screws.

Once the lamp assembly is out of the way you'll be able to access the wiring.

Be sure to check for worn insulation around the wire clips and where the cable enters the headlight.
