I'd been looking at the Honda africa Twin for some time a choice made based on its amazing reliability, but the more I listened to people it became aparent that I might expect the same sort of reliability front the 955i triple, I had always loved the aggresive styling of the tiger and the fact Triumph is the one British success story made me feel all warm inside
and the amiring looks you get when people realise its a Trumpet just confirm I made the right move, I don't regret my choice one bit, at first I thought I'd bitten off more than I can chew (being my first bike in the last 20 odd years) but the more I ride it the more I fall in love with it. So far I've dropped (slowly lowered to the ground) twice and both times without a single scratch to the paintwork (thanks to the handlebars and panniers).
I'm already talking about when I get a 1050 (but thats a little way off yet)
