That's about what I get so you're right on target. The worst I've gotten was 29 mpg but with recent tune up (air filter service, fuel filter element & plugs replaced) I'm now getting around 35 mpg. Saddle bags, taller windshield, sit up riding position & jet kit have all conspired to bring my mileage down from the mid 40's it got when I bought it 10 years ago to mid 30's it gets now.
