I had a 2005 ST3. It's a great bike. Really easy to ride. A lot more vibes down low than a Sprint (I had an RS). The ST3 has a great sound and is plenty quick enough. Most people like the stock seat but it actually gave me welts. The bike is very narrow so it's easy to get your feet down for us shorter folks. The bags are nice.

The bad: the paint was really fragile, easily scratched and marred. Maintainance sucks plain and simple. I knew that going in but I had a dealer that was five miles from where I work and always gave me loaners so that made up for it somewhat. Of course that dealer went out of business. After that I sold the bike as it was a hassle getting it serviced. I miss it though.
