anthonyky New Member Newbie Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 4	Gearing matters The number of gears usually mean a wider range of rpm to wheel revolutions. The fewer times an engine has to turn to spin the wheel will give you better gas mileage. If you do not believe me just do not shift yours into the top gear.
