Yep, should be fine. Varta batteries are made by Johnson Controls, same as my WallyWorld EverStart batt. It's an AGM(absorbed glass mat)batt that works great in motorcycles. It comes dry with a pre measured container of acid mix. Dump the acid in(don't worry about it not being full to the top, it's not supposed to be) and put the seal on and charge and good to go. Mine has lasted for about 3.5 years so far. For long periods of not riding(1 to 2 weeks), I disconnect the neg lead on the batt to keep the clock from running it down. I hook up a batterie tender for extended storage over 2 weeks.
