Gremlins, gremlins I tell you!

Just did a 2,200 mile trip on my 96 T3 D12. I had the same issue with fuel starvation 3 times during the tour. Each time I had at least 1/2 tank of gas so I knew I wasn't out of gas. Each time I switched to prime and problem solved. I checked all my vacuum caps and line to the petcock and all were fine. I've had this bike for 10 years and this problem has occurred intermittently at least once or twice a year. I always feel like it's some sort of vapor lock condition. If I open up the tank or top off the tank with fuel the problem goes away .
Don't really know why but switching to prime always cures it. Like said before don't leave it set on prime or you'll flood the carbs/airbox.

Gremlins...
