If you are talking about a Sprint the earlier ST and RSs have different swing arm setups (ST is on the opposite side to the exhaust anyway) and the 2005 onwards models have underseat exhausts. Send a picture, tell us the model and we may be able to help.

I'm not sure everyone knows what the IOM is either.
