I have also noticed the same buzzing on my 05 Sprint that goes away when the clutch is disengaged at speed. While pulling clutch in I have brought RPM back up to around 4K and buzz returns. Seams either motor or trans related in my case. One thing I have noticed is when bike is sitting still idling I can hear a quiet rumble coming from the transmission that goes away when I pull the clutch lever in. Possibly a bearing problem or normal gear mesh. I'm planning to do a search related to transmission noise to determine what is normal. My bike has 4500 miles.
