As Mac6691 says though, Scotland's beauty is only really apparent when the sun is out. Well, maybe that isn't totally true, there is something about mist covered hills, etc...but it does rain A LOT here.
The bottom shot isn't Glencoe (actually the top one is maybe 10 miles from Glencoe) but it was taken from "Rest and be thankful" (see map below). Actually there is a really good road that goes through it and on a sunny day it is chock full of bikers (and tourists!)
