50 miles is barely beyond "delivery miles" & most dealer's insist on doing a road test, to ensure that everything's running as it should be. & unless they forgot to put oil in the motor, it's virtually impossible to do any damage to a brand new bike in 50 miles.
I bought my Scrambler with 2000klms on it, which was put on by the previous owner in an 8 month period. & my Street Triple was a dealer demo that had 800klms on it when I bought it, & I know that they were a hard 800klms, 'coz enough people have told me about their ride her. Yet both bikes are still going strong (40K klms on the Scram 10K on the Street), with no problems from prior abuse.
I did buy a Kawasaki KLR 600 demo once, which was an absolute dog, & put me off demo's for 25 years. I only relented because it was the only way I could get myself a Street before Sept, but I'm very glad that I overcame my prejudice, in this case.
I'd advise taking the bike for a ride (& adding a few more demo miles to it). Any "problem" that was so obvious to the first refuser, should be just as obviuos to you.
