I try to put some space between us if possible, or switch lanes to get away from them. I had a really bad experience with an out of control cager as a direct result of me flipping him off. I was on my scooter and he tailed me through a yellow light and wouldn't back off so I turned around a bit and flipped him my middle finger. He then drove his big hoop-dee on the right side of me attempting to run me into on coming traffic, yelling at me the whole time. I slowed down and got behind him so he slammed on his brakes hoping I would rear-end him. That didn't work so he drove at an angle towards the curb to cut me off and make me t-bone him. And this was all with a Cincy cop driving just one car ahead of us. At that point I just stopped (hard to ride when you're crying and your hands are shaking) and watched him pull his rattle trap into the liquor drive thru. Lesson learned.
