I've had all of the recent standard fit tyres that triumph have supplied on Tigers starting with the Mitchelin T66 then a set of Anakees then a set of Tourances which let me down big time. then back to Anakees. Now I am on my first set of Pilot Roads & find them very good, stable & good grip in most conditions on tarmac.
I did like the Anakees & wouldn't be perturbed by going back to them they seemed to last me a long time (old fart on two wheels

) most of my miles are done commuting these days & I find that the Pilot Roads are doing a great job so will probably go for another set of them when the time comes to change.
The Tourances I had cracked up, literally, after only 2500 to 3000 miles of use. Large fissures appeared at the root of the tread blocks on both front & back tyres which went all the way in to the carcase, to cut a long story short after much wrangling with Triumph (the tyres were the ones supplied from new on my current Tigger) I lost the will to live & put tourances on my ignore list. I know loads of the guys on here swear by them but not this one.
Whatever rubber you put on keep it road side down & enjoy riding your bike, as always there are as many opinions about tyres as there are riders on the road, long may it be so
