2000 Adventurer

I have a 2000 Adventurer that I bought last summer with 4300 miles on it.I t seems to have the alternator bolt death rattle.I've read that wasn't to common with that year and model but i'm finding that around 2200-2600 rpm I get a rattle/vibration that sounds like the symptoms of it.Lately I notice when I first take off on a ride at about 65-70-plus mph I get a high pitched squeel that goes away as I drop speed,it also goes away as the engine warms.Any thoughts,is there a fix other than new alternator?
I'm also working on a new T-shirt slogan the back says,"Because you can't do this on a Harley." the front says TRIUMPH or any other brand of bike. What do ya think.(nyuk.nyuk.)
