When the injectors are clean they tend to be pretty noisy. If it is a quick ticking (almost a buzzing) sound it is normal. As for your valves and adjustment, the modern Triumph engines rarely need valve adjustment under 24,000 miles--although checking at 12K is a good practice and recommended. With overhead cam engines the valve clearance usually does not become greater (i.e. cam follower, cam lob, valve stem wearing) but in fact become tighter as the valve seat wears forcing the valve to run tighter against the cam follower. The cam follower, cam, and valve stem can wear before this happens, causing a valve noise, but you will usually see the seats wear first which is actually more dangerous to the engine (to a degree). This will cause valves to burn. You could always ride by a dealership or a mechanic that knows modern Triumphs and have them listen to the engine.
