I dont know if Triumph use extra thin pads when assembling the bikes, but I had to replace my rear pads at about 6k miles.
The replacement pads have about 12k miles on them when I checked them when replacing the front pads, they looked about half worn.
I would probably replace them, but it is up to you, there is still life in them for now.
When you do replace them be sure to clean and lubricate the calipers so that the pads will wear more evenly.
