I had the headlight relay mod done for high beam by the dealer. They wouldn't do the low beam mod because of the existing low charge rates from this alternator. The charge rate of 12.3 is rubbish for a 13.2 v system. It means that it is slowly discharging over time. The other factor is the drop off at revs when it should increase (this being a partially discharged battery at this stage). It's fine now and once again running like a dream after they have repaired it. All the symptoms were the same as the first time I replaced the battery so I'll be having the old one recharged and tested just to be sure.
