What a Shame
I just learned about this situation down at Millerbuilt when I called Tim to see about some work on the Tiger and it broke my heart. I knew there was trouble between them for a while, but I never thought it would come to this.
This is a tremendous disservice that Triumph has wrought on all of the people that bought bikes and had them service by Bill and Tim down at Millerbuilt. They were a fist class dealer, and remain first class people. As one of the "Original Hundred" dealers that signed on with Triumph when they rose from the ashes it is staggering to me that they would force Bill out of the Triumph business. Shows where the business is going and the kind of loyalty that Triumph has for the people that built them back up to where they now are here in the US.
I always said that I would never ride anything but a Triumph because Bill Miller would never sell anything but Triumphs, and I would never buy a bike from anyone but Bill. I guess I'll be riding the Tiger for a lot longer than I thought! And my next bike will certainly not be a Triumph, as I could never support a company with my $$$s that would do such a thing to a fellow as great as Bill Miller...
