I think you have already posted this on the 'other' board. I'll go ahead and respond here. Many dealers have NO idea at all how to set up a Triumph. Was your dealer a Triumph specific dealer or are Triumphs on the same bill there as Suzukis and Hondas? If the latter, then you can bet that the mechanics are Gixxer experts, not Triumph/Speed Triple experts.
If (and I say 'If') that is the case, I would NOT take it back to your place of purchase. Instead, look around and see if you can find someone in your area who specializes in Triumph. Take it there. You will most likely have that dealer refusing to honor the warranty because you did not buy it from them, but try and talk them into it anyway.
Also, look around your area for a good indy mechanic who specializes in Triumphs. Worst case is you have to pay $$ out of your own pocket to correct problems, but whatever. It'll be worth it to get issues resolved by someone who knows what the hell they are doing.
