Tried that -- no luck!

Checked the schematics last night after posting -- the switch is the same as used on a number of other Trumpets (Legend, T-bird, Tiger, Sprint ST, etcetera), so should be in stock at TMA. Of course, my local dealer didn't have it on the shelf, but I wasn't surprised there. He did promise to put it in with today's Triumph order and I should have it Tuesday/Wednesday of next week, which will be enough time for me to install & bleed the brakes before heading out to North Carolina the following Monday. And if it's not, I'll take the V-Strom 650. That gets better gas mileage, even if it's not as much fun to ride on the open road.
