My bike had 1 mile on it when I picked it up - it was brand new. It was in storage for two years at the dealer's warehouse.

When I say panel gaps, I don't mean anything that you would look at and say "wow, these barely fit!". I review automobiles, so I have an eye for these things that most people don't have.

As for the dry rotted rubber pieces that hold the relays in place, most likely the storage place was very dry, and the rubber started to rot. Also, I'm sure all the heat generated by the engine that is trapped under the fairings didn't help the situation.

I think the bike just needs a little love, and perhaps the dealer didn't do all that they were supposed to do when I picked up the bike because they were busy changing the fuel pump.
