I know it's not a Triumph, but this transformation is something all old bike lovers can appreciate-

I acquired the chopper about 3 years ago, stripped it in a couple of hours and it sat ever since. I picked up the frame
on e-bay around 2 years ago, and had it powdercoated, then it sat on the shelf ever since. Over that time, I've been
gathering Norton bits from various swap meets, e-bay, forum friends, and serendipity.
29 days ago, I finally put the frame up on the bench and got started on it, then tore the engine down and sent the jugs
for boring. It's been about 60 hours in the shop with it, and it lacks just the lighting and cosmetics to be ready for the road.
The bike will be for sale after next week, probably in the $7,500 range in Black, $8,000 in Red with the Corbin seat.
