Have they done it again?

Honda, the company that brought us the CB750, the three-wheeler (which begat the quad runner), and the NSR750, has now introduced this:



It has a continuously variable transmission that can also be used in a manual transmission-like mode. They swear it's not a cruiser, not a scooter, and not a sportbike. More information is available from the Motorcycle Daily article here.

So, will it succeed? Will it spawn a host of imitators the way the CB750 and the first balloon-wheeled three wheeler did? Let's get bickering. I mean, discussing.
