My Race Tech Experience

If anyone is on the fence about the value of Race Tech springs and Gold Seals, I offer my opinion. I put these in my '99 D1200SE last year (a 1.0 for my 182lbs.) and a Hagon shock in the rear. What a difference With the stock springs I got a lot of dive on hard braking and rise on hard accereration - so much so that it really disconcerted me sometimes. That is all gone now. The dive and rise are now under good control and there is more feel and stability in the curves too. I was worried about conpliance before I installed them - I thought they would perhaps be too hard feeling and transmit some hard shocks over bumps and such. Didn't happen. It's amazing - the Race Tech's give you great control yet the compliance is as good or better than stock. No way to lose, just put them on
