a great find and resource... thank-you.

But, even moreso--- I'm dead curious how you ever sleuthed that out--- who would of thought a Valkyrie fork spring would be what's hiding on the inside of my Daytona's fork tubes :=) Good detective work.

I went to Race Tech's spring calculator--- the stock spring (my 2004 955i) is .78

Accdg to their calculator--- with rider weighing in at 215 pounds and for street applications--- they are suggesting a .95 for the street and a 1.00 for track applications.

Good stuff--- been wanting to upgrade my suspension--- the stock spring just does horrible, scary nose dives when you hit the front brakes on my tona--- till I put in a LOT of pre-load--- which gets rid of the nose dive but has no compliance left and even small road perbutations sends the front end into near shudders. So--- I think a new stiffer spring might be what I need.
