Yes mate, there is a small increase in power but the best thing for me was that with it and the off road tune it smoothed out the power delivery. Plus the option to go legal or not.. depending on my mood. The other best mod I did - along with the screen, was to change the fork springs to the progressive ones. Kept the oil to the stock 10w and it works well for me, being 6'3 and 100 kilos (ish..), to reduce the pogoing effect when braking. Either way you'll not be disapointed in the bike. The photo is from a Mallory Park track day - I'm no Rossi but it shocked a fair few rice rocket riders as I passed them.. Good Luck.
