Biggin's 'n littlen's

I have the National Cycle street shield. It was on my '73 Norton (Sting) and now migrated to my 2002 T-Bird (Nikki). Worked great for Sting. Weird mounting on Nikki as I had to order 2 of the hose clamps to wrap around the forks for the lower mount. I couldn't find the size or length hose clamp at any of the local hardware stores.
On the Norton, you sit pretty high, so the street shield is needed to give reasonable coverage up high and the wind is still deflected around the knees. That's kind of nice with my old arthritic knees. With the Triumph, you sit lower "in" the bike. The Shield sits high enough to give no coverage to my knees at all. The deflector shield might be all that is needed as the larger screen doesn't cover that much more.
I have a deflector shield on order. I was going to put it on Sting, but am thinking about putting the Shield back on Sting and the Deflector on Nikki.
I'll play around and let you know.
