One of the best solutions is to realize that this bike is not going to give you the coverage of a touring bike and put on the Sport Screen. The Vario works great for me but on summer days I'll switch to the Sport Screen and I get very smooth and clean air. The biggest reason for buffeting is that a shield is trying to push air up and over which causes the shaking. If the shields you have been trying don't work get rid of the shield all together and you'll find it quite smooth. You can even take a stocker and cut it down rather than pay the awful high price of the Sport Screen......the highest priced piece of plastic around.
