Unfortunately, the Triumph fuel gauge has a mind of it's own
We just put it down to British quirkiness
Most people just rely on how many miles they've done on the trip counter.
As you may already know the '99 Tiger is always good for 250 miles on a full tank.
I know that doesn't help, but I hope that helps (if you know what I mean
)
