What to put in a tool kit?
I've been pondering what the perfect portable tool kit would contain as I prepare for long solo trips this summer. The tool kit will fit into a small bag then into a tail bag. To that end, I've started assembly tools. I went to Home Depot and bought an 8-piece folding star ket set, an 8-piece metric and 8-piece SAE folding hex key sets, 10" slip joint pliers, and a 7-piece metric stubby wrench set. I will add from my current collection a folding utility knife, a small Leatherman, a 1/2" ratchet and metric deep socket set, tire plug kit, a can of Fix-a-Flat, and Slime. Plus I have the tool pouch the bike came with. My question is...what else do I need? Suggestions are appreciated!
