They were working really good. Loud, but not to loud. (I had no problem hearing after I shut it off.) I did feel guilty with the throttle wide open passing people. Again, no problem with my hearing, and today I wore my half helmet with my ears exposed. Throttle responce seemed dead on, very quick from 4,000 RPM's to 7,500 RPM's. It back fired thru the pipes a lot during engine braking. They looked good to me on the T-bird and a heck of a lot lighter then the stock mufflers.
Well, I took them off tonight at about 7:30pm and put my peashooters back on. Out of nowhere my t-bird wouldn't go over 5,000 RPM's, I'd get to 5,000 RPM's and my engine starts sputtering. As I said I charged them back to stock and it still sputters at around 4,500 RPM's and won't go over 5,000 RPM's, even with the trottle held wide open.
Can anyone answer this question for me? What's the problem? Ron.
