How would you reshape your screen ?
Hi All,

As you may have read in the "Kill the Buffeting" thread I'm still trying to improve / modify my screen to get rid of that dreaded buffet and I'm nearly there

As you can see from the photo I've gone the way of using the Triumph Tall Screen with the MRA Vario hinge mechanism and spoiler attached to it. The only problem I've got is the angle of the hinge mechanism does not come anywhere near close to the angle of the tall screen, as the Vario screen is a much shallower curve than the Triumph. This is going to make it very difficult to mate the two together.

I'm thinking of reshaping the tall screen at the top, to fit the hinge mechanism. The curve of the tall screen would have to end up the same as the Vario.

Any thoughts on how to bend the screen ? Oven, Blow Torch, hair dryer ?
What is the best way to heat it up ?
Would heating it up change how brittle it is ?
Would I be able to use the Vario as the template to form the Triumph screen ?

Any other thoughts on how to solve this problem would be warmly welcomed.
