There is a hole down/forward of the footpeg mounting. It should have a rubber/plastic plug in it. Pry the plug out and that's where the footpeg bolts in. Yes, the whole footpeg brake/shift lever moves together. After you relocate, put the plug back in the other hole. You will have to get new shift/brake linkage rods from the later Trident('96 or later) or have the rods fabricated. You'll find the brake rod too short, and the shift rod too long.
