I was in a new motorcycle store looking for parts for my 1968 Postie Bike - my Tiger never breaks - when I saw something that caught my eye. I don't pay too much attention to Japanese M/Cs, they all look the same to me. What I thought I saw was a larval Tiger 1050! Smaller but quite Tiger-like. It was a Kawasaki Versys, something I haven't see before. It is quite cheap, seems to have had OK reviews, and may fit the bill for those folks wanting a Tiger 675 before Triumph finally comes around and builds one.
I asked the young sales - using the term loosely - person if he knew what the displacement was. He said he didn't know what the displacement was, but he did know it was a "650"......... I won't be going there for advice!
