900 or 1200
Having owned 2 Tridents and a Trophy 1200 I would go for the 900.The 900 is more than capable of doing 2 up fully loaded touring.
For me the most annoying thing about the 1200 is the gearbox.It works fine but because it's the same as the 900 the ratios are too close ,they need to be spaced further apart.With the 1200 I had to change up 2 at a time.
Having said that,the 1200 is a good engine but the 900 has more character.
