Bonnie/Thrux top tree's different sizes

Howdy all,

I bought a Bonnie top tree with risers from my local dealer to swap out with my Thruxton Top tree because, well because I feel like it. I pulled off my Thrux tree and went to slide the Bonnie tree on and man are they different! The hole for the stem nut on my Bonnie tree is almost 1/8 inch farther forward from the stem hole on my Thrux trees.

Has anyone experienced this? My Thrux is a 2004 and these are new clamps from the dealer, did they make some slight alteration to the rake angle of the bike? I put the front wheel down to try and get the Bonnie trees on but they wont go without some serious hammer work, while my Thrux trees slide right on.

Any help is appreciated.

Jake
