As has been said before, black is not good in a strong sun. You'll roast yourself. If I were you, I'd look at the fabric side of the market for your jacket and pants. You can get good perforated ones like BMW & Hein Gerricke do and try to go for lighter colours. Or, if your budget is looking good, find some of those new leathers that have a special treatment that allows them to reflect the UV rays and, therefore, act as if they're white.
