I think that Peruvian Priest who tried to make a world record setting flight using helium balloons tied to a chair, & is currently missing, presumed dead; will take some beating for this year's Darwin award.
After all, he should have no trouble qualifying for the part of the award that states that the recipient must have died in the most stupid & meaningless way, before they had any children. Therefore denying their "stupid genes" to the human gene pool.
Though from what we've been hearing about Priests lately, even that's not as certain as it used to be.
