Some good advice here. Let me add.
Strap down the front end, if they will let you.
At the lights, its elbows up, weight low and as far forward as you can.
Helmet almost over head light
Right foot down, left on peg so as not to blow a shift.
Don't be afraid to abuse the crapola out of the clutch and come out of the
hole as hard as you dare...Reaction and 60' times are everything.
