I rode one on test last week-Brand new (4 miles on the clock!) It was better than I was expecting,
The vibration at tickover is huge compared to the Tiger!
The engine at highway speed is suprisingly smooth.
Riding position is a little lower than the Tiger.
I admit the bike was new and it's a little unfare to compare - but it was much slower than my bike,and i was suprised at the lack of engine braking.
Handling was good,i am sure that in the dry,with scrubbed in tyres,it would be as good -maybe better than the Tiger.
Overall I like the style and innovation but needing to commute all year round in all conditions,could I rely on it starting each and every day?,how would the resale value hold up? the cost is much more than mine,so my head must rule my heart....now if I could afford both
I wouldn't rule it out!!
