Thumbs up

I received a free gps with my mobile phone package. A Mio Digiwalker. Doesn't have the bells & whistles such as text to voice or silly games but it is a good little unit with voice commands and easy to read screen.
I bought a bike mount from ebay at about $5.00 AUD and I get about 3 hours of battery life. I switch it off when I don't need it such as long highways. Yesterday I needed it with the threat of rain so I stuck in a plastic snaplock bag. I then realised it still clipped onto the mount while sealed in the bag. It didn't reduce the screen clarity or sat signal. I guess I will get an adaptor to charge it while riding at some stage but I haven't found the need yet.
