Sorry, I am apparently not as anal as you. I will restate my opinion that "a huge number of problems are self induced". There it is, for the sake of accuracy and public record. (check my spelling and grammer while you're at it).
Triumph will do what they should to bring in the biggest cash return. I am not going to kid myself about their motives and I have no problem with that. In a way, I would prefer to do the job myself because it would allow the chance to give many concealed parts of the bike a good cleaning, not to mention the learning possibilities.
