I'm assuming you have the Mikuni carbs. With that many miles, I would sugest replacing the needles and needle jets(they wear uneaven causing the engine to run rich). Factory Pro has a kit for these (
www.factorypro.com). Appx $130 for kit. As long as you have the carbs apart, make sure you give them a good cleaning/inspection. If all diaphrams and o-rings are good, re-use them. Clean all 3 filters.
