If you are using the trip to run it in you could get a bit fed up ...5000 rpm in 6th is not even 70...check out the other posts about running it in ( I really dont want to start that up again!!!
)...I think just about the only concensus was that long periods of constant steady engine revs is a bad thing....on the other hand some of the roads in Spain will be fantastic for a street ....smooth warm tarmac
Like the others have posted you want to get the first 500 mile service/oil change done before you go
