Much as I`d like to, it`s probably unfair of me to comment on those accidents as I wasn`t there at the time. On looking at my 'how to power wheely a striple' post, I now realise that it was unfair of me to say it was within the scope of most riders. I will amend my post to say it is within the scope of most riders who have at least a small amount of common sense.
Here are a few safety tips for those that don`t, to prevent any further unfortunate fatalities.
For those of you that have been riding for 15 years and haven`t yet figured it out, the front wheel is the one that steers the bike. When it is off the ground, steering capability it is greatly reduced. Braking too, for that matter, so pick a nice quiet open area, preferably off road, to practice. You may find a crash helmet and protective clothing comes in useful, too.
