1993 sprint idle question

Disclaimer: I'm a mechanical buffoon.

But before I head into de garage I'd like to try and get some pointers from you guys here. My Sprint has just been put back on the road after a five year "storage" period and is running great above 3000 revs.
But below that it's rough and hesitant when I give it gas, the rev counter often jumps a bit when idling.

It also takes some warming up (about ten minutes before I feel happy about dropping the choke completely), but I figure that's normal on a 15 year old bike.

It starts great, at the first touch...

What do you think, it just needs carburating (is that word English?) or is there anything else that should be looked at when I take it into the garage.

The carbs have been cleaned and looked at when it was generally serviced a month ago...

any ideas on a postcard...
