I was just about to post a thread on this very subject, but it looks like we are talking about the same thing!!
I've recently bought a 92 Trident, which sounds sweat when revs are applied, but when it is at idle it has a nasty rattling sound from some where behind the cylinders??.....Also when i start the bike, i get a strange spinning sound aswell (it goes once started)!?
Is this the Altenator?
Can someone explain what it is and how much work is involved?
Is it a serious problem?
