My first thought would be battery terminals unscscrew them clean them with a wire brush and tryn again also check connections to the starter solonoid which is in front of the battery next to the suspension pre-load adjuster(2 terminals facing the rear of the bike) and you could check the engine eath conection which is on the right hand mounting bolt of the alternator.
